My name is Paula Guerrero and I have been in the photography industry for 13 years. I opened my photography studio in Lincoln, Nebraska over 7 years ago after the birth of our son.
My passion for photography started much like most - at a young age while flipping through family albums. I sensed a great need to preserve the history of the lives of those that we loved and cherished. I often wondered what it must have been like to be there at that time. As if the photographs were my own personal time machine, I soaked in every detail and carefully memorized each image. Looking back it was then that my passion ignited for capturing bits of memories suspended in time forever.
The style of photography I use really varies from family to family. All of my subjects exude a unique personality or family dynamic of their own and I do everything to capture that with my camera. Generally I love to capture expressions that are not just the typical but interesting and unique to each person. The look of a 2 year old trying to figure out where the squeaky alligator is hiding, the gaze that a newly engaged couple gives each other, or the giggles of a family enjoying their adorably funny children. These are all important moments that deserve a captured moment in time, and I am honored to be a part of each one.
